LEO water heater is a solution for heating objects of different cubic volumes. Equipped with an advanced, 3-speed fan of the latest generation, designed with operating characteristics that enables a broader scope of efficiency control, thereby enhancing the heating capacity of the heaters. It ensures greater functionality and better performance. LEO's range of heaters includes models of different wattage and size, allowing efficient and effective heating of both smaller and larger rooms. 

Product description

For us, the heater alone is not enough! That's why we created the LEO series of water heaters with greater functionality and better performance confirmed by an internationally accredited testing laboratory. LEO heater, designed for indoor installation, offers a wide range of heating power options: 0.7 - 121.0 kW.

The housing is made of lightweight and durable EPP (expanded polypropylene) material. The LEO water heater can operate as a stand-alone unit and as part of the intelligent FLOWAIR SYSTEM. The T-box controller with touchscreen display, which is the brain of the SYSTEM, also controls multiple devices from one place.

A specially designed console allows the device to be mounted vertically on narrow columns and partitions. When mounted vertically to the device, it enables parallel installation at various angles to the wall. With the use of dedicated ceiling-mount brackets, overhead installation is possible.

The entire series consists of 8 device models in 3 sizes and 3 housing variants (EPP, any RAL powder-coated housing and stainless steel). This allows the device to be precisely matched to the conditions at the site.


SYSTEM FLOWAIR, the intelligent control

The LEO water heater has a number of control options. The TS controller provides essential functionality, while HMI adjustment offers expanded operational capabilities and enhanced control comfort. With the intelligent T-box touchscreen controller and innovative algorithms, integration into the FLOWAIR SYSTEM and BMS systems is possible. This means full cooperation of LEO devices with other FLOWAIR products.

Device types available

  • LEO BMS - water heater equipped with energy-efficient, 3-speed fans that are powered and controlled by the DRV module. The DRV control module is an executive element that supervises the operation of the device according to commands issued from the T-box controller or directly from the BMS.
  • LEO - fan heater with an AC motor, providing the option to switch between 3 different speed levels.
  • HP ready - the 3-row fan heater is designed to work with a low coefficient factor, namely heat pumps.



FLOWAIR offers dedicated accessories for the LEO heater that allow more efficient use of the equipment:

  • mixing chamber - allowing to create the simplest ventilation system by supplying fresh air to the room,
  • confusor - the use of a confusor increases the velocity of the supply air stream. As a result, warm air is delivered faster to the lower zones of the room. The use of a diffuser is particularly appropriate in situations where devices are mounted below the ceiling at significant heights.
  • diffuser - the use of a diffuser results in even distribution of the supplied air from the heater in four directions. Recommended especially for ceiling-mounted heaters in low rooms.

Cooperation with heat pump

LEO HP ready devices are energy-efficient solutions that align with ecological trends and zero-emission policies.
LEO heater can be supplied with low-temperature heating medium (60-40°C).
Advanced control ensures service-free interoperability with heat pumps. An additional advantage of the solution is the use of water as a heating medium, which guarantees greater safety and lower environmental impact compared to air conditioning systems which use CFCs.

The range of heating power with parameters below:
- min: 1st gear/speed of fan, temperature of heating medium 40/30°C, air temperature at the inlet 20°C
- max. 3rd gear/speed of fan, temperature of heating medium 120/90°C, Air temperature at the inlet 0°C.

We would like to inform you that as of October 30, 2023, the S1 and L1 models of the LEO/LEO BMS heater have been withdrawn from sale. The technical specifications of these models can still be found in the documentation for this device.
