The investor of this retail facility had a number of requirements and objectives to meet. The key was to find a solution that would not only reduce energy consumption costs, but also ensure comfort for both customers and employees. To achieve this, it was necessary to make effective use of the heat recovered from, among other things, refrigerated display cases, in the supermarkets. It was also important that the proposed solution allow for integration of the air curtains with BMS (building management system).

Customers staying in your premises should always feel comfortable. One important element is to ensure thermal comfort in the room regardless of the weather outside. Does it happen that customers do not want to sit at the table next to the entrance? Do they complain that your premises are cold or windy every now and then? This is what an air curtain can remedy.

Modern technology can go hand in hand with responsibility - including environmental responsibility. A good example of this is EPP, or expanded polypropylene. This lightweight, strong and resistant material is increasingly replacing traditional steel housings in HVAC equipment. At FLOWAIR, we focus on solutions that have a real impact - both on functionality and the environment.
